The Society of Petroleum Engineers Permian Basin Chapter is excited to formally invite you to the 14th Annual Plays and Clays Fundraiser on April 17th at Jake’s Guns and Clays.  This event brings together professionals from across the oil and gas community for a day of fun, networking, and giving back!  The official registration for teams will be posted before the New Year.

 

We are currently seeking sponsorships to help make this event a success. Your support will directly contribute to reaching our scholarship fundraising goal and investing in the future workforce of the Permian Basin.  Please see the attached document which outlines specific event sponsorship opportunities.

 

 Last year, we proudly contributed $200,000 in scholarships for local students pursuing Petroleum Engineering, related fields, and STEM education. This year, our goal is to continue raising funds to provide scholarships and strengthen STEM education across the Permian Basin.  Scholarship recipients must major in Petroleum Engineering or related fields directly contributing to the oil and gas industry in the Permian Basin. We aim to support students pursuing disciplines that contribute to the industry’s continued success and workforce development.

 

Beyond financial contributions, we’re seeking businesses to donate raffle prizes or giveaway items and those interested in cooking at the event.  Every participating business will be recognized during the event and in our member communications.
